Career Profile
I am a 5-year-experienced Certified English<>Spanish Translator and the creator and owner of AM Translation Studio. Apart from serving the communication of individuals thanks to topquality translations, I also provide proofreading and editing services, localization, and counselling in translation matters. In order to achieve these goals, I am constantly training and updating to sharpen my skills and to learn more about the areas in which I work. I translate for the following areas: Oenology & Viticulture, Oil & Petroleum, General Science & Technology, Journalism, Academic & General Certificates, Publicity, Human Sciences, Construction, Medicine, Contracts, Design, and Tourism. I am a proficient PC user and my preferred CAT Tool is Trados 2007/2011.

Career History

2012 to present - Teacher of English at Ferma S. A. Sistemas Constructivos. The lessons are planned and organized to solve the specific needs of this company;
2011 to present - Creator and owner of AM Translation Studio;
2007 to 2011 - Freelance translator: national and international clients, organizations and
institutions;
2011 - Volunteer translator for The United Nations Volunteers Programme (UNV);
2011 - Volunteer translator for The Central American Women’s Network (CAWN);
2011 - Volunteer translator for Centre for Affordable Water and Sanitation Technology
(CAWST).

Main Projects

» Oenology and Viticulture: Translation of manuals and brochures related to Argentina’s main tourist destinations including Wine Routes, main national wineries and vineyards and tourism and wine congresses.
» Construction and Petroleum Industry: Translation of documents, contracts, bills of
materials, manuals, bios, Cvs, etc. for major national and international companies,
architects, engineers and designers mostly within the petroleum and mining industry;
» Journalism: Translation of different pieces of news and articles for national clients;
» Medicine: Translation of general texts concerning medical topics, such as MyPlate™, health insurance documents, medical guides, etc.;
» Technology: Translation of general texts concerning technology issues, such as manuals and guidelines for different devices.
